First contacts are always very important. So here goes... I'm very excited about the opportunity to serve Emmanuel as interim pastor. I look forward to meeting all of you and eventually learning to speak your name when I see you. I'm also excited about learning to use the new tools the Lord has allowed to be developed that will allow us to share the good news about Jesus. I will need instruction and help in our ventures together. Not only with the matters of ministry in the traditional sense, but also with this wonderful medium of communication called blogging.
I think that one of the most important features of blogging as we know it today is the feature that allows, even encourages comments and feedback. So, let me hear from you as you see fit to respond and/or participate. Pastor K.
I'm not really sure how this blogging stuff works. I used to be quite the computer geek in my day, but I must have blinked and got left behind on new technology. I am eager to hear your first sermon in our church on Sunday. It'll be nice to hear someone who approaches God's work with such zeal.

I love the use of technology. Especially with everyone not living on the same block as each other, its nice to use these tools to keep in touch with one another, and to assist in spreading the good news of Jesus.
